Whoa, Will! Wasn't expecting this lovely shout-out at all. I really appreciate it. Man with No Tongue is probably my favorite of yours so far. I still need to dive into As You Were! Have you considered self-pubbing it?
It’s pretty easy to self-publish these days and put your stuff out there. Amazon KDP is the easiest in my opinion. Mainly, all you have to do is format your doc, upload it and check off a few boxes. I use a program called Vellum for formatting. I could format it for you, if you’d like. Then all you’d have to do is upload it to Amazon or anywhere else you’d like.
It’s so wild to see how quick bites of your day job ruptured into the banquet of imagination you put out this year. Thank YOU for all the hard work! And 🍋 forever!!!
a lot of your stuff stuck with me (it's quite sticky) and, honestly, it was hard to choose just one! happy new year! I'll see you on the other side! cheers
thank you so much for including me will. i have a lot of your reading to do still, excited for it! can't wait to love/be absolutely crushed by the one about bowser
That's a serious line-up to be included in – and a pleasant surprise for New Year's. Much appreciated, too. I've found some great writing through your recommendations this year, not to mention your own work. Happy-happy, joy-joy!
My own personal favourite of your stories is lodestar, the voice, the balance of inevitability and the tragic pathos that doesn't tip over into sentimental mawkishness. It's a very powerful piece indeed.
Thanks for the mention, as mentioned that was a piece that tied together three random (I Ching) prompts into one developing very short fable experimentally. That experiment goes on...
Thanks for including me Will, what a great playlist. Excited to read yours and everyone's.
happy new year, Deirdre!!!

Of course Logan! Maybe I’m thinking of self publishing but honestly I have no idea where to start

An honor to be mentioned, Will. First thing I’m doing in 2025 is going back to that restaurant and enjoying a brand new dish, no tears this time.
you should for sure! Bring a tiny fork and knife so it takes you way too long to eat and you’re forced to savor it
