So much good stuff! “Death being careful” … Considering we spend far more time dead than alive, this must be like accidentally opening the wrong bathroom door at a restaurant and we’re either thrilled or mortified at the insides, before quickly exiting back into the ether.
Wow! Deep, dark, interesting, insightful, honest. I enjoyed this a lot, Will.
I’ve worked some weird jobs that felt somewhat corrosive to my soul (I’m not saying that’s what your jobs doing) but since I started writing I’ve found those jobs do make for good writing ideas/ stories.
"The more I do this job, the more I believe that life is just death being careful."
That son of a bitch is sneaky!
Damn, Will. You've got range. What a piece.
Thanks for the kind words, Lizzy! Appreciate you!
Loved this. The collar mushrooms, and the flame. You’re a gem, Will.
Thanks so much, Jill! I can't tell whether the collar mushrooms gross me out or make me hungry
As someone who just had mushroom pasta for dinner, it seem the answer is behind door number 2
Now I know what I'm making for dinner tonight
Never boring is good :)

Thanks, Michael! Oh yes, the work can certainly be difficult, venturing into the corrosive even, but it is never boring
