oh my gawd...that's as dark as the crawl space. love how its all a shuddery mix of sensations and viewpoints, sounds and smells and whispers and submission and memories and tiny focal points like the crack of drying blood on a hand. things you would focus on if you were trapped and confined for hours and indefinite hours.
you've got right into an horrible head space to write that. truly sinister through the suggestion of terrible things for the reader's imagination to flesh out.
it made my skin crawl! the blood bit is from when I used to get bloody noses and the blood would dry on the hand and it is kinda fun to make the dried bits crack
